- MeToShow Personal Edition lets you personalize your meeting room with a fixed room name of your own so clients can access your meetings with an easily memorable room name. What's more, the personal edition expands your meeting room, allowing more people to join your meeting. It also allows you to store more documents in your personal folder. There are other enhancements are available to make your meeting even better.
- MeToShow Corporate Edition allows all features of the personal edition with a boost of speed, convenience and identity. As a corporate edition user, you will have the option to have our MeToShow installed at your company. How do I join an online meeting? |
| A: |
Joining a MeToShow meeting from the website is easy and just takes a few steps: 1) Visit https://www.metoshow.com. 2) Find your ticket number on the top of browser and submit it to your meeting host. Once your ticket number is added on the invitation list, you can join the meeting directly. 3) Alternatively, you can specify a MeToShow room. At Room Name, enter the room name provided by the meeting host. 4) At Login Name, enter your name or leave the field blank. 5) Click 'JOIN MEETING' to enter. If your name is already on the Host's audience list, you can enter the meeting room directly. If you are not on the invitation list, or if you want to remain anonymous, you need to wait for the host's approval before entering the meeting room.
There are alternative ways for you to join in the meeting as well. You can receive and accept the meeting invitation through email. If you have Skype installed on the computer, you may join the meeting via Skype call. You can find more information of joining MeToShow meetings in our User Guide here. |

MeToShow requires very little network and system resources. Therefore it can run smoothly on any PC under various network conditions. Currently, MeToShow supports only Internet Explorer and the minimum system requirement is as follows:

A 'Host' in MeToShow is the host of the online meeting. The Host can start a MeToShow meeting, upload files to the network and invite clients to the meeting. An 'Audience' is invited by the 'Host' to a particular MeToShow meeting. Both the 'Host' and 'Audience' can use the built-in tools to aid their presentation. |

If you can't remember your password, you can click 'Forget your password' to recover it. On the following page, enter your registered email and click 'Submit'. The new password will be sent to your mail box immediately. |

'Remember me' memorizes your registered email address and password on your computer. Check the 'Remember me on this computer' box and you don't have to retype the same information next time when you wish to hold a new MeToShow meeting. How many audience can I have in a meeting? |

The number of audience you can invite depends on the MeToShow edition you are using.
- MeToShow Free Edition allows you to invite 2 people simultaneously in a meeting session.
- MeToShow Personal Edition and Corporate Edition allow you to invite up to 20 people in a meeting.

How do I know who is online and attending the meeting? |

You can check your audience's connection status by the signal light on the audience list.
- If the signal light is grey, it means that the user is offline and not connected.
- If the signal light is green, it means that the user is online and is connected.
- If the signal light is yellow, it means that the user or the audience is uploading files to the system or is changing the presentation page.

Does MeToShow have restriction on files uploaded to my Personal Document Folder? |

You are entitled to a Personal Document Folder when you create a MeToShow account. You can preload files to the Personal Document Folder and retrieve them any time during the meeting. Depending on the edition you use, there is storage difference of Personal Document Folder.
- MeToShow Free Edition allows users to store 100 documents no larger than 40MB in the Personal Document Folder.
- MeToShow Personal Edition and Corporate Edition allow users to have 400MB storage in the Personal Document Folder without limit on the document quantity.

Can I host more than one online meeting at the same time? |

If you have more than one MeToShow account, you may host multiple meetings simultaneously with different ones of them. However, a MeToShow meeting is unique to you and your audience, one registered email supports only one meeting each time. If you want to host the meeting on another computer, you need to log out the current meeting. Then log in your MeToShow account on another computer. |

Does my meeting session expire when I close the browser window? |

If you close the browser window without logging out, your meeting session will stay available until 30 minutes. You can log in within this time frame to resume the meeting without losing any unsaved data. |

Can I ensure that only authorized users could access my meetings? |

You can rest assured that only you and the authorized audience can access the presentation materials. When a user or an anonymous not on the host's audience list is trying to enter the meeting, MeToShow will notify the host. The host can decide whether to permit or reject the audience to enter the meeting. |

Absolutely no. MeToShow does not incorporate any software nor install them to the computers of all involved parties. |
Troubleshooting

My audiences sometimes say her screen is “Loading” but my page is displaying fine already, is there something wrong with it? |

Delay is sometimes inevitable on the Internet. Depending on your audience's network connection and his/her physical location from the host, delay is rare but possible. Please wait or hit the refresh button when the problem occurs. If the problem persists, ask the audience to re-login to the meeting room. |

I can't log in MeToShow while it says my browser doesn't support JavaScript. What's happened? |

JavaScript errors can be caused by certain browser settings. To resolve this problem, you can follow the steps below to reset Internet Explorer security: 1. Click the 'Tools' menu at the top of IE browser and select 'Internet Options'. 2. Click the 'Security' tab. 3. Click 'Custom level' and ensure following items under 'ActiveX controls and plug-ins' are set to 'Enable':
- Allow Scriptlets;
- Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls;
- Binary and script behaviours.
- Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting;
- Run ActiveX controls and Plug-ins;
- Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting.
4. Scroll down to section 'Scripting' and ensure following items are set to 'Enable':
- Active scripting;
- Allow paste operations via script;
- Scripting of Java applets.
5. Click 'OK' after these settings are enabled. 6. Click the 'Advanced' tab and ensure 'Allow active control to run in files on my Computer' is checked. 7. Click 'OK' to save your changes. |

Why do I fail to invite Skype contacts directly from the meeting? |

To use Skype in the MeToShow meeting, you may need to install Skype ActiveX control on IE browser. Follow steps below to turn it on:
1. When you use Skype in a MeToShow meeting for the first time, you'll be prompted to run 'SkypeAPI Com Wrapper'. Click 'Run' to continue. 2. On the pop-up dialog box, check 'Allow this site to use Skype account services' then click 'OK'. 3. Continue to check 'Allow this site to use Skype messaging services' then click 'OK'. 4. Keep checking 'Allow this site to use Skype voice services' then click 'OK'. 5. When prompted whether to allow Internet Explorer to use Skype, check the option 'Allow this program to use Skype' and click 'OK'. |

What should I do if I'm told that my account is in use and the system can't log me in? |
| A: |
After you enter your login information on MeToShow website, you get an error message saying that your account is in use and the logging has failed. In this case, you may try any of the following solutions.
- Wait at least 10 seconds before retry. Normally, MeToShow server requires 10 seconds between host log-ins. If you have just logged out the system, do wait at least 10 seconds before re-login.
- Close any active meeting window and retry. For MeToShow hosts, the meeting service is provided on a one account, one active meeting basis. You will fail to log in if you try to access the same meeting from multiple browser windows simultaneously.

Why do my audience fail to join in the meeting? |

Your audience has failed to join the meeting from MeToShow website. You may check which logging problem they have met.
- Your audience get an error message telling that the room they request does not exist. You may check and confirm that they have received the correct room name. Ask your audience to re-login after confirmation.
- Your audience gets an error message telling that the meeting URL has been used. This problem could be caused by name conflict or obsolete audience status in the meeting. To resolve name conflict, you may ask your audience to re-login with a different display name. If the problem is caused by obsolete audience status, you may resolve it by re-inviting the audience.
- Your audience gets an error message telling that the meeting room is full. In this case, please check if your meeting has reached the maximum audience number. With MeToShow Free Edition, you can invite at most 10 people. With MeToShow Personal or Corporate Edition, you can have up to 20 people in a meeting simultaneously. To resolve this logging problem caused by audience number limitation, you may remove inactive users or upgrade to Personal Edition.

Why does the file conversion fail when I upload files to MeToShow? |

If you get an error message that your uploaded file has failed to convert, please check if your problem is caused by any of the following:
- Uploaded file type is not supported. MeToShow now supports DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX, PPT/PPTX, PDF, TIF/TIFF, JPG/JPEG, PNG, BMP and GIF.
- Uploaded file exceeds 10MB.
- Uploaded file is protected with password or encrypted.
- Uploaded file contains too many pages.

MeToShow is well tested to work with all Internet Explorer versions, including Internet Explorer 8. However, Internet Explorer 8 has utilized Web standards that are different with earlier browser versions. If your MeToShow pages look fine in older browsers but display differently in Internet Explorer 8, try the following method to resolve the issue. Click the Compatibility View icon located beside the address bar. Or, click Compatibility View on the Tools menu. |
